We're the Harrises - the family behind Mill on the Hill. :)

​

After being introduced to freshly-ground grains and discovering the benefits for ourselves, we made it our mission to make these same blessings available to our local community.

​

Freshly-ground grains must be truly local in their roots. The milling timeline necessitates proximity. It reaches back to the old days when your food was connected to your community.

 

Everything was in-sourced, not out-sourced. Your miller, butcher, baker, fishmonger were people that lived down the street, not millions of miles away. You could talk to them and ask them questions about the day's catch and their family all at the same time.

 

In a fast-paced, out-sourced world, we encourage you to join us in a return to our roots.
